Stephen Colbert has returned to late-night TV, sitting down with Jimmy Kimmel, and shaving his beard, four months after the end of "The Late Show."

The Late Show used the software when Colbert took over in 2015, and writing became much faster. Since then, Scripto has spread to The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper. Colbert hopes more of Hollywood can embrace it too.
For fans of Colbert's day job, have no fear; he's not giving up entertainment. He's currently co-writing The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past, and he is itching to get back to being in a writer's room, no doubt using Scripto. These days, at least he knows for certain he doesn't have to worry about a live goat showing up.
